The International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS) and the Taiwan Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (TSCRS) are honored to co-host the 2026 ISRS–TSCRS Joint Annual Meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, from July 17–19, 2026.

As the first ISRS joint annual meeting ever held in Asia, this landmark congress is expected to attract more than 500 ophthalmologists, researchers, and eye care professionals from around the world. The meeting will serve as a premier international platform for academic exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of ophthalmic innovation.

The scientific program will feature the latest developments and emerging trends in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and related ophthalmic subspecialties. Participants will benefit from an outstanding educational experience through international keynote lectures, subspecialty symposia, Young Ophthalmologist Scientific Presentations, and an International Surgical Video Competition.

To further promote hands-on learning and practical surgical education, the congress will also offer interactive training opportunities, including Wet Lab sessions, Eyesi Surgical Simulation, and Fidelis VR Simulator programs. Beyond the scientific sessions, a variety of social and networking events will provide opportunities for professional connection and cultural exchange. A President’s Dinner (invitation only) will be held on July 17, followed by a Gala Dinner for registered participants on July 18.

ISRS and TSCRS remain dedicated to advancing ophthalmic care and strengthening global academic partnerships. Building upon the success of previous meetings, the 2026 joint congress aims to inspire innovation, foster meaningful collaboration, and further promote excellence in ophthalmology worldwide.
